Glitched Landscapes — Illustration, Mockups

Glitched Landscapes is a sticker system where there is base illustration based on the animals and landscape of the area the stickers are being distributed with an illustrative overlay displaying multiple health/environmental effects. The sticker overall shows if a product is ecosystem and health conscious, and the overlay specifies the product’s health/environmental focuses.
Process
Ideation
When I was looking for produce that was organic, and while reading the labels of a red apple, I noticed that there were no specifications on what “organic” actually entailed to the customer for that specific product. In addition, while I was shopping for groceries and didn’t want to spend lots of time looking up the regulations surrounding things like “organic” and “Fair Trade,” this made me realize that there needed to be a label that could be trustworthy and specific about a product’s commitment to health and the ecosystem without a lot of online searching.
Competitive Analysis
Other food labels are usually one simple icon, so I decided to use that imagery as the labels to go on top of the stickers. Landscape paintings are traditionally drawn in flowy brushstrokes, inspiring me to use curvy lines for the landscape and harsh lines for the disruption.
